We are looking for a talented experienced Firmware Team Leader to play a central role in our Research and Development group.

Position Overview

In this critical role, you will lead an excellent team and solve architectural and engineering challenges.
You will innovate and drive products and features implementation through all layers of communication – from PHY to Application.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Take the lead in design, implement and debug wireless communication protocols and various applications for industrial projects
    • Lead a project development by managing multidisciplinary scrum team
    • Drive products and features through the full development lifecycle
    • Collaborate with HW/FW/SW teams to provide FW architecture for multidisciplinary products
    • Mentor other engineers on a variety of topics: engineering standard methodologies (coding, frameworks, architecture, CI/CD), project management (task planning), and career growth
    • Participate in professional work – groups and closely work with customers and partners

    Requirements

    • 5+ years hands-on experience with FW development (C programming skills)
    • 2+ years of experience as a team leader with proven management experience leading a development team
    • Experience with scripting languages (preferably Python)
    • Experience with ARM processors architecture.
    • Understanding of wireless communication architecture
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. you must be a person who enjoys working in a team with very strong peers
    • Leadership and organizational skills. Ability and desire to define and direct a project from start to finish while leading a team to reach project goals and deadlines
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
    • "Out of the box" thinker that solves problems in innovative ways
    • Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and deep-dive into new areas.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Hebrew)
    • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from a leading University

    Advantage Skills

    • Experience with memory constrained Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
    • Experience with Git or similar version control system
